Microneedling with the MesoPen™ is a delicate, comfortable, and gentle process in which 12 tiny micro-needles are used to create continuous controlled micro-channels across the surface of the facial skin. The depth of the channels can be adjusted based on individual goals of treatment.
PRP therapy uses your own body’s plasma as a healing serum after a micro-needling procedure takes place. The micro-channels created by the micro-needles provide tiny, direct pathways to deeper layers of skin, allowing your body’s natural growth factors to be as effective as possible. This enhances its healing and rejuvenating properties.
Patients treated with PRP typically experience a shorter recovery time and heal faster due to the unique healing properties of their own PRP.

Studies have shown that PRP can expedite the healing process of tissues and reduce the appearance of pigmentation and acne scarring when used with microneedling. PRP treatment involves using the patient’s own blood as a resource to isolate the platelets with a centrifuge. The blood is separated into 3 layers which leaves the PRP available for use during the microneedling process. PRP contains proteins and several growth factors that regulate and activate cell migration and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.
By using microneedling as the supplemental delivery method for the PRP, the two treatments work synergistically which leads to more rapid collagen production and skin rejuvenation.

Platelets are one of four primary components of blood (the other three are red blood cells, white blood cells, and plasma). Platelets promote cell growth and regeneration. As the term “platelet-rich plasma” suggests, platelets are generally about five times more concentrated in PRP than in regular blood. This concentration of platelets is useful, because platelets secrete growth factors than are thought to assist in wound healing and tissue regrowth.
When it comes to hair loss, the theory is that platelets, injected deep into the scalp to reach the bottom of the hair follicle, may stimulate a specialized population of cells named dermal papilla cells, which play a critical role in hair growth.

What is Platelet Rich Plasma or PRP?
PRP Skin Rejuvenation
By using PRP technology we are able to combat these signs of facial aging and restore skin to its once youthful complexion, providing patients with smooth skin texture and pleasing contours. PRP facial rejuvenation works best in the treatment of:
-
Acne scars, and other superficial scars
-
Wrinkles, fine lines, and facial folds
-
Nasolabial folds
-
Signs of aging along the face, neck, and hands
The PRP face treatment is done by injecting the patient’s own blood platelets back into their facial tissue. These blood platelets contain growth factors that aid in the production of new skin cells.
These new skin cells, produce hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin. Compounds that give our skin their smooth, supple texture and “stretchy” consistency. In doing so, the PRP facial treatment is rejuvenating your skin from the inside-out!
Benefits of PRP Treatment
-
Non-Surgical Facelift procedure, minimally invasive. No incisions are made, small injections are placed throughout the treatment area.

If you are suffering from wrinkles, fine lines, and just poor overall skin quality on your face and neck, definitely consider PRP face and neck rejuvenation today. PRP technology is revolutionary and makes use of the body’s own healing ability to help alleviate facial blemishes, and skin aging issues

Results
PRP facial rejuvenation naturally stimulates your body’s own collagen production, and it takes about three months for maximum collagen regeneration to occur. Most patients notice an improvement in their skin texture in the first month after the treatment. It is recommended to have 2-3 treatments spaced at 6- 8 week intervals. The results of PRP rejuvenation are long term with most patients receiving touch up treatments at one year to further stimulate collagen production and continued facial rejuvenation. For more immediate improvement, we can combine the benefits of the PRP facial rejuvenation with Botox, Microneedling, and Laser Skin Resurfacing.

How does laser hair removal for men work?As the name suggests, laser hair removal treatments involve the use of laser light technology. These lasers emit pulses of light energy into the skin to target the root and hair follicles. Once the root and follicle are destroyed, hair can no longer grow, and the result is permanent hair reduction
-
How many sessions do I need?Depending on the size of the area, most clients need multiple hair-removal sessions to see the best results. That’s because hair, as it grows, goes through three different stages. The laser is only effective on hair that’s in the growth phase, and individual hairs are always in different phases. Hair must be in the active growth stage for laser hair removal to be effective. With multiple treatments spread out over weeks, the laser can capture every hair in the growth phase.
-
Is laser hair removal permanent?Everyone’s body reacts differently to laser treatments. Some people see permanent results, while others only see temporary hair reduction. Treatment is most effective on people with light skin and dark hair. It is more challenging to eliminate hair growth on people with fair skin and light hair, as well as from people with a dark skin tone and dark hair. Once treatment sessions are complete, some people will see permanent hair loss. Others may need to return for a touch-up treatment in a year or two. The success of the procedure depends upon the individual and how many treatments they have.
-
What to do before and after laser hair removal? If you’re ready to get laser hair removal, start by consulting with a certified and licensed professional. Consultations with Laser by Jana Bay are entirely free and can be scheduled online or overthe phone. During your initial consultation, your laser technician will explain what the procedure entails and examine the area and estimate how many sessions you’ll need. General recommendations before the procedure: • Shave the hair in the desired area the day before laser epilation • There should be no deodorant in the armpit area. • Do not sunbath 2 weeks before • For 2-3 weeks, do not use wax, epilator, sugaring
-
What to expect after treatment? After treatment, it’s common to experience some slight discomfort. Many people see redness and swelling in the area, especially within the first few hours after treatment. But what you do afterward is just as important as what you do to prepare. General recommendations after the procedure: • Do not sunbath for 2 weeks after the procedure • In the first 2-3 days, you should not overheat in the bath or sauna • Do not use alcohol body lotions for the first day • Mild exfoliation 6 days after the procedure • Wear loose clothing so that you don’t sweat in the treated area • For the first 48 hours after a session, avoid working out
