The treatment is scientifically proven to improve acne, acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, and shrink pore size. The heat from the laser kills bacteria on the skin and deep within the skin, which drastically helps diminish active acne while preventing further breakouts. The heat also stimulates collagen production, which is what helps remodel/heal scars and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Laser Genesis with GentleMax Pro™
Laser resurfacing technologies represent an exciting development in the cosmetic repertoire to improve the tone, texture, and pigmentation of the skin. Numerous laser platforms exist that rejuvenate the skin by resurfacing its upper layers. Laser resurfacing technologies represent an exciting development in the cosmetic repertoire to improve the tone, texture, and pigmentation of the skin. Although laser resurfacing is not a substitute for a facelift or blepharoplasty, the appropriate laser not only tightens the skin somewhat but also improves the appearance of lentigines, rhytides, skin texture, and a wide variety of scars.

Laser genesis with GentleMax Pro™ Laser genesis is a non-invasive and comfortable procedure that uses a laser to gently heat the skin. It can help smooth the skin and reduce the look of fine lines, dark spots, and wrinkles. How Do Laser Rejuvenation Treatments Work?

Facial Rejuvenation treatments such as the Laser Genesis and the Candela Rejuvenation, stimulate new skin cell growth, blood flow and collagen production by increasing the temperature of the skin to 42 degrees Celsius during the treatment. These facial rejuvenation laser treatments smooth fine lines and remove facial redness. They can also close tiny capillaries and veins that cause redness on your skin. Most clients see improvement on their skin during the course of their treatments (approximately after three or four treatments). It is recommended that treatments be four to five weeks apart and a total of five treatments for optimal results.
The major targeted areas for treatment are:
-
face
-
neck
-
shoulders
-
décolletage
-
hands

How does laser hair removal for men work?As the name suggests, laser hair removal treatments involve the use of laser light technology. These lasers emit pulses of light energy into the skin to target the root and hair follicles. Once the root and follicle are destroyed, hair can no longer grow, and the result is permanent hair reduction
-
How many sessions do I need?Depending on the size of the area, most clients need multiple hair-removal sessions to see the best results. That’s because hair, as it grows, goes through three different stages. The laser is only effective on hair that’s in the growth phase, and individual hairs are always in different phases. Hair must be in the active growth stage for laser hair removal to be effective. With multiple treatments spread out over weeks, the laser can capture every hair in the growth phase.
-
Is laser hair removal permanent?Everyone’s body reacts differently to laser treatments. Some people see permanent results, while others only see temporary hair reduction. Treatment is most effective on people with light skin and dark hair. It is more challenging to eliminate hair growth on people with fair skin and light hair, as well as from people with a dark skin tone and dark hair. Once treatment sessions are complete, some people will see permanent hair loss. Others may need to return for a touch-up treatment in a year or two. The success of the procedure depends upon the individual and how many treatments they have.

What to do before and after laser hair removal? If you’re ready to get laser hair removal, start by consulting with a certified and licensed professional. Consultations with Laser by Jana Bay are entirely free and can be scheduled online or overthe phone. During your initial consultation, your laser technician will explain what the procedure entails and examine the area and estimate how many sessions you’ll need. General recommendations before the procedure: • Shave the hair in the desired area the day before laser epilation • There should be no deodorant in the armpit area. • Do not sunbath 2 weeks before • For 2-3 weeks, do not use wax, epilator, sugaring
-
What to expect after treatment? After treatment, it’s common to experience some slight discomfort. Many people see redness and swelling in the area, especially within the first few hours after treatment. But what you do afterward is just as important as what you do to prepare. General recommendations after the procedure: • Do not sunbath for 2 weeks after the procedure • In the first 2-3 days, you should not overheat in the bath or sauna • Do not use alcohol body lotions for the first day • Mild exfoliation 6 days after the procedure • Wear loose clothing so that you don’t sweat in the treated area • For the first 48 hours after a session, avoid working out
